I feel like I’m known as a planner, an organiser, a person who lives for colour-coded to do lists… and while in part that’s true, I’m starting to feel a bit over it.
Every year for as long as I can remember, I’ve bought a fancy new planner created by a fancy and successful entrepreneur and got super excited about filling it in… only for all my good goals and intentions to fall away mid January.
Listen here:
So, after realising just how disatisfying I’ve been finding other people’s planning systems, I decided to create my own. Something filled with a nice mix of mayhem, momentum and magic, just like me.
To make planning fun…
I’ve designed my own customisable planning journal, and create a pre-planning ritual that involves tea (duh) and a banging playlist (bouble duh)
To make planning flexible…
I’ve create a monthly check-in ritual to help me review, realign and refocus my goals and priorities as time goes on
To factor in my personal priorities…
I’ve designed a little exercise to help me get clear and what I truly WNAT to focus on in my life (and block out all the “shoulds” that have a habit of creeping in)
To factor in the fact that I might hit resistance at some point…
I’ve learned some highly potent NLP techniques to help me conjure a great mood on command
To help me create goals that I’m hugely emotionally invested in…
I’ve radicalised the way I set goals so that they are way smarter than smart AND so that I’m clear on how I’m going to measure progress and achievements,
To help me overcome the specific bad habits that have held me up before…
I’ve designed a way to get clear on what my personal pitfalls are AND a way to deal with if they crop up again (because they will)
To help me create simple, easy-to-implement action steps to help me make progress towards whatever goals I set…
I’ve revolutionised my own productivity systems so that my action plans feel fun and focused and expansive
Sounds irresistible, right? Well, there’s no need to resist. I’ll be walking people through the full system in my Unshakeable Goals workshop this winter.
